Dogs

Penny, a scotch collie, wandering the alleyways of Venice after the death of her owner.

We currently have two dogs, Stella and Giubba. Penny left us in January 2019.

People mulling around in Venice, as seen from a dog's perspective.

Stella is most likely half beagle, half Jack Russell, but we don’t really know.

Her character certainly matches a beagle / jack russell mix. She has a personality.

She is seven years old and I have her since August 2012, when she was about one and a half.

Giubba is probably a bit of everything, but we’re quite sure that there is some German shepherd in him.

He was found in a cemetery in Sardinia in around 2011, and ended with a Venetian family. In early 2019 they weren’t able to keep him any more, and he was given up for adoption.

Giubba came to us in February 2019, aged about ten, and has adapted brilliantly.

Giubba

Penny in the Via Garibaldi for her evening walk with a bit of mist. Being old she likes to rest at the local bar, even though it was closing.

Penny is a scotch collie, and she lived to almost fifteen.

She lived her first thirteen years with her first owner, but he died in the summer of 2017. Nobody wanted her because she was old.

Penny came to us in January 2018, and she left us in January 2019.
