The photography club Marco Polo Associazione Fotografica Venezia has an exhibition on at the Laguna Libre restaurant in Venice.
The theme of the exhibition is L’ Altra Venezia, “The Other Venice”, that is, the Venice beyond the usual stereotypes.
Each club member has had the opportunity of participating with one photo within the common theme.
My partner Martina and myself are both participating.
Martina’s photo is of her father, a painter, at work in his study on a copy of a famous Canaletto painting.
My photo is taken on the Grand Canal, with a group of friends, as we were waiting for the regata storica.
The Laguna Libre is an excellent restaurant, slightly alternative, and our os will worth a visit even without the photo exhibition.
